Any questions, feel free to ask/email me. Thanks for stopping by - hope you are having a great weekend!!

SCS Blogger RAK
How beautiful is this card?? My picture doesn't do it justice! I received this beautiful card from Kelly (SCS gadget19) as a SCS Blogger RAK. Be sure to click on her SCS id to get to her gallery to see more of her awesome projects! This great card uses green (my fav color) and uses a set that I have ALWAYS wanted, but yet to get. I'm afraid that if I get it now, it will retire. Good thing is that my neighbor just bought this set, so I can hopefully borrow hers sometime. :) Not only did she send me one of her *best* cards (love it Kelly!!!), but I got seeds for some Forget-me-Nots and a sweet note! Thank you for thinking of me Kelly - I really appreciate the kind words!!! Your card was timed perfectly too - I received it on a day that I was home very sick in bed. It was just the pick-me-up that was needed!
Here is a link to Kelly's blog - http://craftyinkings.blogspot.com. Be sure to stop by and post a comment or two to let her know you were there.

Thank you again!!

With Sympathy

My Godfather passed away earlier this week and I wanted to send my Godmother a card to let her know I'm thinking of her. He lived in AZ and she lives in IL, so I'm not able to be there in person. I decided to use one of my Papertrey Ink sets and a design that Julie from Paper Pleasing Ideas posted on her blog the other week. It was using a stamp to create your own background.

I used the Anniversary set Papertrey sent to qualifying customers - Simple Little Things. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig, you can create the background quite quickly.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simple Little Things (Papertrey Ink)
CS: Blue Bayou, WW
Ink: Blue Bayou
Other: Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon (SU!), Stamp-a-ma-Jig

Blogger's Challenge (May 9th)

The challenge this past week was to create a Mother's Day card. Well, I did have this completed on Friday, however, I'm still having computer issues. I tried posting this earlier today and when I had everything completed - it decided not to save. So, I'm trying again!

I stamped my flower from Inky Antics in Palette Noir ink and used Copic Markers to color it in. The greeting is actually 2 stamps from a set by Papertrey Ink. The flower is popped up on dimensionals.

Be sure to check out the other Blogger Challenge Players by clicking on the icon in my sidebar to see more beautiful projects!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Flower (
Inky Antics); Women of Life (Papertrey Ink)
CS: Groovy Guava, Green Galore, WW, Polka Dotted Paper - Martha Stewart
Ink: Palette Noir, Groovy Guava
Other: Groovy Guava Double-Stitched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Stamping Sponge, Paper Piercer, Copic Markers - Yellowish Green YG06, Light Orange YR02

Hope all of the moms out there have/had a wonderful Mother's Day!! Enjoy!!
